Pedagogical and didactic choices
KTH's ethical policy, the Discrimination Act and the Government Assignment on gender mainstreaming in the content, design and implementation of education require an inclusive education environment based on equality and gender equality, free from discrimination and harassment. This presupposes that you as a teacher not only have knowledge of equality and gender equality, and the regulations around this, but also that you make conscious pedagogical and didactic choices in the implementation of teaching.
Conscious pedagogy
The way in which gender, gender equality, diversity and equal conditions are best taught varies with the level of the course, the educational subject, learning objectives, student composition and the teacher's own teaching style. It is therefore seldom possible to copy learning activities from other courses straight off. However, the examples listed in The Necessity Bag can serve as a source of inspiration.
Here are some examples of learning activities that individually, or together, can be used in teaching.
