About Operations and Infrastructure section at KTH and the support and services offered
Operations and Infrastructure is responsible for running and maintaining the IT environment at KTH. We ensure that network, servers, storage and other technical solutions exist and function in a stable, secure and efficient manner.
Our services
- The client group offers support to students, teachers and administrative staff through managed computer workplaces, both personal and in computer rooms. We provide software for the KTH-Windows, KTH-Mac and KTH-Ubuntu platforms.

The server group administers all physical and virtual servers and is responsible for storing and backing up user data.

The infrastructure group is responsible for ensuring that KTH's network has high availability and capacity. We are also responsible for developing, installing and managing advanced solutions for AV technology in meeting rooms and lecture halls.

We support the research conducted in health, technology and environment at KTH by offering the researchers a secure, stable and need-based IT environment.
