What can teachers do to enhance students' study techniques?

In today’s live session, Marcus and Anna talk with Lydia Boij, president of KTH’s student union (THS), and Sara Naumann . Sara is head of the Department of Engineering Education (IP) and Programme Director (PA) for the Bachelor of Engineering programme in Chemical Engineering. In a Future Education project, she works with Magnus Johnsson (PA for the Master of Science in Engineering programme in Chemical Engineering), exploring how student completion can be improved – among other things, by helping students develop better study techniques (based on student's suggestions).
Marcus, the principle manager
Marcus Lithander is not only the podcast host. As a researcher in cognitive psychology, he brings a scientific perspective to today’s discussion. He is also newly appointed principle leader for Active Student-Centered Learning within Future Education.
Sara has invited Marcus to lead a seminar for teachers on how study techniques can be integrated into first-year courses.
