Discussion topics: projects starting in 2023
The projects proposed to start in 2023 within the framework of Future Education will be briefly presented on project posters in the Q-house. In addition, the following projects will be discussed in detail at the thematic tables.
Projects for integrating physical and digital experimental environments
"We want to integrate existing prototype facilities, maker spaces, student labs and student projects and activities currently "owned" by our four departments into a common facility that can benefit the whole of KTH. We have a model to make this sustainable and would love to welcome more departments."
1 round in English led by Martin Grimheden, Magnus Wiktorsson, Björn Laumert and Arnold Pears.
Projects related to the higher education engineering programs at ITM
"Student completion on several HING programmes is falling. In Södertälje we are not filling the programmes. We have succeeded in widening recruitment but not in widening participation. We want to start over and have an idea for what we would like to talk to you about. The plan is to do a SWOT on our idea together."
At least 1 round in English led by Gabriel Montgomery and Mats Nilsson.
Project on integrated lifelong learning
Lifelong learning, creating new opportunities in education and practice. How we package the lifelong learning is essential both in terms of content, structure and benefit. How do we create a lifelong learning concept, where we can meet new challenges in society's development?
2 rounds in English led by Magnus Helgesson, Malin Wennerholm, Eva Liedholm Johnson and Stefan Peterson.
Project on increasing Student completion
"We find that an increasing number of students are poorly prepared for their KTH studies. This applies to both prior knowledge (mathematics, chemistry, Swedish) and study strategies / study techniques. In the project, we want to try to find out what we can do to get students to take command of their own learning as early as possible. We would like to hear your thoughts, experiences and solutions related to this!"
1 round in Swedish is led by Sara Naumann.
Project on flexible recorded material for active learning in physics
"We really face a wicked problem: give students recorded material and flexible learning, while making them come to campus. This is an (impossible) project to create flexible recorded material that can be used with different types of teaching on campus."
1 round in English led by Anna Burvall and Marina Zelenina.
