Find and cite – KTH Library KTH Library's new digital course for master's students

The course Find and cite in Canvas Commons
The library can teach students at all levels, both in Swedish and English, how to search for, evaluate, and cite information. It is possible to book teaching sessions by contacting the library. In several programs, the library is already a well-established part of the teaching.
Digital course supplement
The library now also offers the digital course Find and cite (in English, for master’s students). The course can serve both as an alternative to synchronous teaching and as a supplement, for example, as preparation before a teaching session.

Open to everyone
The course is available in Canvas to anyone interested. The target group is master’s students at all KTH programs and courses. Don't miss the library’s previous, basic course Search, Evaluate, Cite (in Swedish). KTH students can register for the course to track their progress.
Two hours to complete
The entire course is estimated to take 2 hours to complete.
Three independent modules in Canvas
The course includes videos, text, and quizzes. It is structured into three modules plus an introduction and a conclusion. The modules are independent, so it’s possible to complete just one of them.
Import to tailor for your students
You can also find the course in Canvas Commons , where you, as a course coordinator or teacher, can import the course, or parts of it, into your own course. If you choose to import it, you can customize it and, for example, add assignments specifically tailored for your students.
