No general extra re-examinations for period 2, 2021

But exceptions may be necessary

Published Mar 21, 2022

The material KTH has analysed does not indicate that it will be necessary to offer extra examination opportunities for all courses that had exams on-campus during examination period 2. However, it may be possible for KTH’s schools to request exemptions after the re-examination period in April. This if it turns out that, due to the pandemic, a significant number of the students have not passed courses they need to advance in their education.

GA can grant exemption or request extra examination for "Spärrkurser"

Students who must pass a certain course to advance in their education, but where a student has not participated in a written examination due to the pandemic, GA can either:

  • grant exemption to an individual student (applied for via the study counsellor/master's coordinator)
  • decide that extra examination shall be given for the current course.
