Reporting of burglaries, theft and vandalism
Reporting burglaries, theft and vandalism is part of the systematic security work at KTH. This is also important for risk and injury prevention.
Ongoing break-in, theft or burglary detected
In case of an ongoing crime or if you have reason to suspect that the perpetrator is in the area or has been there recently, you should first and foremost call 112.
Break-in, theft or burglary detected afterwards
- Call KTH's emergency number 08-790 77 00 to report the incident.
- Secure the scene, i.e., don't touch anything and cordon off the area if possible.
- Document, i.e., take pictures of the scene.
- File a police report: You can file a police report by calling the police non-emergency number, 114 14. You can also file a report online.
- Inform your immediate supervisor or someone else with work environment responsibility.
