CHS to close in current form

KTH's President has decided to close down the centre formation Centre for a Sustainable Built Environment (CHS) as of December 31, 2020. The centre and its activities will continue in other forms.
CHS is an interdisciplinary research centre, without external partners / funds, which brings together the broad sustainability research that is going on at the ABE school. As research in the area is well integrated into the regular activities at the school, there is no longer a need for a formal research centre.
The ABE school intends to keep the well-established brand CHS for collaboration and information about research in the area.
