Are you interested in questions related to impact? The Impact Group at the ABE school now invites you as a teacher or researcher at the school to join a newly started impact network that will meet a couple of times per semester to discuss and exchange ideas on impact related issues.
New responsibilities and focus on streamlining processes
Last week, the ABE School Faculty Board held its first meeting after the summer, and it was an important start to a busy autumn term and preparations for new responsibilities.

Academic Productivity and Sustainable Work Methods - workshops for doctoral students Autumn 2024
The ABE school is pleased to offer a series of workshops for doctoral students from all KTH's schools wishing to enhance their skills in academic productivity, writing and sustainable working methods.
During the autumn of 2024, three groups will be meeting for a series of three interconnected workshops to acquire useful tools in these areas, while sharing experiences of academic life with each other in an interactive learning environment.
Submit proposals for the creation of undergraduate assistant positions
The ABE school has been given the opportunity to recruit undergraduate assistants (amanuenser) linked to the school's different educational/research areas in order to support Master's students. Unlike in the past, mentoring is specifically emphasised in these posts, although the posts will be able to include a teaching component.
The deadline for submitting each department's proposals is 30 September 2024.
New opportunity to apply for funding for teacher exchange, teacher development and programme and course development!
In 2024, the ABE School's teachers and Programme Directors, through the respective department's Head of Department, are given the opportunity to apply for funds for teacher exchange and teacher development GRU, as well as for programme and course development GRU.

Safety and security at KTH
We have a shared responsibility for a safer workplace. Safety and Security at KTH provides you with checklists on acting if there is an accident or other serious incident at KTH.
The Head of School has overall responsibility for crisis support for employees and students at ABE. Most crisis situations are handled at the ABE school locally by management and HR staff. In major crisis situations, KTH's central key support functions are also available.
