Election of teacher faculty representatives to Faculty Board ABE - Time to nominate!

The term of office for the current six teacher faculty representatives on each school's faculty board ends at the turn of the year. New representatives will therefore be elected. The Election Committee’s proposals and other valid nominations will be published no later than 9 October 2026 on the intranet.

Erik Stenberg, chair of the election committee for the ABE School’s Faculty Board, explains more about the role and what the election committee is looking for in candidates.

Positions of trust

Positions of trust to be filled in 2026

Several positions of trust at the ABE School are to be filled in 2026. One of the processes currently in progress is to appoint new heads of department for five of the school’s six departments for the upcoming term of office, 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2030.

Infrastructure

Review and analysis of ABE’s research infrastructures initiated

Head of the School has decided to commission Magnus Wålinder, the School’s Responsible for research infrastructure, to carry out a review and analysis of the School’s research infrastructures.

The assignment aims to provide a strategic basis for decision-making regarding the long-term planning, prioritisation and development of the School’s research infrastructure.
