A holiday greeting from the school management

A holiday greeting from Head of School Björn Berggren and Deputy Head of School Karin Edvardsson Björnberg.
Dear colleagues,
As we approach the end of another eventful year for ABE and KTH, the management team would like to take this opportunity to reflect on all the great work done during the year and thank you all for your contribution to our development.
In January, we started a new chapter with the launch of our new Faculty Board. Now, almost a year later, we can look back with pride on a very successful first year. Together, we have developed a stable and well-functioning co-operation that has laid the foundation for both important decisions and new strategic initiatives. A sincere thank you to all members of the Board for your expertise and commitment! We look forward to continuing to work together on the development of the school.
We would also like to pay special tribute to all the researchers who have succeeded in securing an impressive amount of research funding during the year. Your hard work, creativity and persistence in an increasingly competitive environment are crucial to KTH's, and ABE's, position as a leading research actor. These successes are not only a testament to your expertise, but also an important step towards solving many of society's major challenges.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to all our teachers. The work you do to educate and inspire the engineers, architects, technologists and scientists of the future is invaluable. Throughout the year, we have received many positive reports from students expressing appreciation for your commitment and the high quality of your teaching. You are truly the heart of our organisation and one of our greatest strengths.
Finally, we would like to thank our support staff. You have faced great challenges this year with ongoing reorganisations and the implementation of many new procedures, common processes and systems. Through this, you have worked hard to create a more efficient, accessible and equal support for the entire university.
Finally, the management would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take care, enjoy your holidays and recharge your batteries for a new year full of exciting opportunities. Together, we will continue to tackle challenges and work towards the sustainable society of the future!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
With warm greetings,
Björn and Karin
