Appointment of heads of five departments
The four-year assignments for five of the school’s six Heads of departments expire at the end of the year. The departments are Architecture, Philosophy and History, Real Estate and Construction Management, Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering, and Urban Planning and Environment.
The school management (deputy heads of school Björn Berggren and David Nilsson) have appointed a group that will seek the views of the coworkers at the concerned departments, as support for the decisions. According to KTH’s procedural regulation, the heads of department are appointed by the head of school.
The members of the hearing group are professor Berit Balfors, prof. em. Arne Kaijser, prof. em. Inga Britt Werner, professor Vladimir Cvetkovic and professor Raid Karoumi.
