Call for applications for the role of Partnership Director for Skanska
Then our new role as Partnership Director for Skanska could be an exciting opportunity to do just that! The role is open to ABE employees and will be a two-year appointment. The Partnership Director, as a representative of KTH, should be familiar with all the instruments KTH offers for collaboration, and should proactively work to develop the partnership. This includes proactively working to ensure that new initiatives are taken and phasing out initiatives that are not viable. By spending one day of their working week on site at the partner organisation, they are expected to become familiar with the overall working methods and structures of KTH's partner organisation, as a complement to a good understanding of the environments relevant to the collaboration and the relevant expertise throughout the university.
The Partnership Director at KTH should fulfil the following requirements:
- Doctoral degree since at least 5 years
- Permanent position at KTH of at least 50% as researcher, lecturer or professor
- Significant experience from First and Second cycle education and/or lifelong learning at KTH
- Experience of collaboration with public organisations or industry
- Interest and experience in project management, entrepreneurship, innovation management, organisational management or equivalent
Examples of tasks in the role of Partnership Director
- Prepare and propose the content of the partnership and the focus of the goal document
- Anchor and disseminate information about the partnership and its activities within KTH
- Actively facilitate matching with KTH's expertise in a mediating role, for example through research meetings, or facilitating degree projects and joint applications

Nominations including self-nominations may be sent to ledningsstod@abe.kth.se by 15 November 2024, after which a selection will be made by decision of the Head of School, based on the profile of requirements, after consultation with the ABE School management and Heads of Departments, Partner Leader at RSO, the Vice President, as well as the coordinator at the partner organisation. The assignment is expected to start after the turn of the year.
