Event and conference support
Do you need help with arranging an event? On these pages you will find information about premises, logistics and contracted suppliers. KTH's Internal Event Support
The Internal Event Support team sits within the Communications department at the University Administration. They facilitate the organisation of an event at KTH by offering consultative support in the form of knowledge and solutions. They contribute advice and tips that make it easier for the organiser to plan and conduct successful events that yield positive results. As an organiser, you can get help at the beginning of the planning process – for example with goal-setting, evaluation, meeting design, format, budget and support relating to suborder routines. As planning progresses, the team offers support and consultation services regarding practical solutions and logistics issues.

Some events require existing furniture to be moved out of the venue in question. KTH's craftsmen offer furniture removal. In these cases, the organizer must book an extra room for storing the furniture. The craftsmen can also lend furniture such as standing tables, chairs, tablecloths and folding walls (270 x 190 cm).

Inhouse cleaning services
Venues at KTH are cleaned by KTH's cleaning services, covering both lecture halls and surrounding spaces. It is good to understand how the routines work so you can determine whether there is a need for extra cleaning.
KTH’s service centres
If you work at a school that has a service centre, you can turn to them for help in planning and arranging both large and small events in close cooperation with you as the orderer. Among other things, they help with:
- the booking of conference and meeting rooms
- hotel rooms
- travel bookings
- advice in connection with both physical and digital events.
