KTH Research Office invites you to this seminar and launch of KTH:s membership in the network Vision2020. The KTH membership in Vision2020 allows you to use their wide variety of services to network your way into Horizon 2020 proposals and projects.

Programme:

  • Welcome and introduction. Maria Gustafson, head of KTH Research Office
  • Presentation of the Vision2020 network. Michael Browne, Chairperson of Vision2020 and one of its founding members (Head of European Research & Innovation, European Research & Innovation Office at University College London)
  • KTH support for external research funding. Anna Kivilehto, KTH Research Office

Vision2020 is an open innovation platform for research organisations & businesses seeking funding from the European Union's €80 billion 'Horizon 2020' programme. The networks’ 36 research institution members include several of the top ten institutions, some of which are carrying out ERC-funded research projects, and are spread across a very wide geographic area, with 29 countries currently represented amongst its total membership of 51 organisations.

Vision2020 currently hosts fifteen active communities of researchers and companies that work together in "Helixes" focused on a Horizon 2020 topic area. Vision2020's Helixes are hosted on the purpose-built Crowdhelix collaboration platform.
