Water at the centre
Welcome to a conference at KTH where we put water at the centre. We will look at advances in science and technology that helps us manage water – our most precious resource – sustainably now and in the future.
Time: Thu 2020-12-03 09.00 - 12.00
Participating: Keynote speaker: Prof. Janet Hering
Now we can look back at a successful conference - within just three hours we learnt and interacted across disciplines and across professional fields.
After the nice words of welcome by Vice President Annika Stensson Trigell, KTH, we enjoyed a remarkable Key Note address by Prof. Dr. Janet Hering, the Director of EAWAG in Switzerland, followed by the Science Fountain which showered the participants with water knowledge in three parallel sessions. The final part of the conference we devoted to a panel discussion on “How to make collaboration meaningful” moderated by Karin Larsdotter, KTH. Panel participants were Karl Bergman, head of R&D at Vattenfall, Muriel Beser Hugosson, head of the School of Architecture and Built Environment at KTH, Juha Salonsaari head of the Environmental Department at City of Stockholm and Anna-Carin Ramsten, senior analyst at Vinnova,
