Therese Röstlund works as Education administrator and helps both teachers and students in Flemingsberg.
“Solving problems is one of the absolute highlights of this job,” she says.

What do you do at Service and Teachers support?

Name: Therese Röstlund

Works as: Education administrator, CBH Service and Teachers support

Has worked at KTH since: 2005

Leisure interests: Working out in the gym, spending time with children and grandchildren

“Service and Teachers consists of two parts, really. Service deals with matters such as catering, events, hospitality, procurement, room and venue bookings, and assistance with access cards. The other part consists of Teachers and Student support, and that’s what I work with. At Teachers support we help teachers with, among other things, exams, reporting results in Ladok, with Canvas, DiVA and preliminary schedule.”

“We also answer e-mail questions from students. These are often about course registration and Canvas. Or about why they can't see their grades, for example. Naturally, we have a lot of contact with the Education office and the study counsellors as well, in addition to teachers and students.”

When can you be contacted?

“Whenever you need help! The easiest way is to send an email, but you can also drop by if you have a question. We have three different functional addresses, depending on whether your case concerns service or teacher support. Student support also has its own email address.”

Therese Röstlund has her workplace in Campus Flemingsberg, where she also sits in the support office on floor 5, one or two days a week. It is mainly the students who come with questions. Sometimes, the teachers also drop by when the office is open, but otherwise, they email or visit where Therese and her colleagues are situated, on the 7th floor

What do you rnjoy the most with your job?

“It's probably the collaboration with both my closest colleagues and with the teachers, study counsellors, and others at the Education office. Since we all have different experiences and professional expertise, it always works out well when we together find solutions to problems that arise. Solving problems is one of the absolute highlights of this job. Finding the missing link and coming up with a solution.”
