Service centre in Kista closes - support still available on campus
As more of our operations are moving from Kista to Campus Valhallavägen, the Service Centre in Electrum will close after week 25. Thursday, 19 June, is the last day we are physically open in Kista.
In many ways, this marks the end of an era - a place where students, researchers and staff have long received help with everything from access cards and premises to IT and everyday support. Now, it's time to turn the page.
When the autumn semester of 2025 gets underway, students and businesses will be gathered on Campus Valhallavägen. Just as the moving departments will follow the move - so will most of the 'physical' administrative support and service centres.
Continued support
Support will still be available for departments with operations remaining in Kista for part of the autumn and for the Electrum laboratory, which will continue its operations as usual but based on campus and via digital channels.
In addition, staff from Infrastructure and Services will be on-site in Kista a few days a week during the autumn as the disposal of the premises progresses.
