Support and Resources
During your time as a doctoral student, situations may arise where you need support or guidance. KTH offers several support functions that you can turn to for matters relating to your work environment and well-being.
If you need support during your doctoral studies
If, during your doctoral studies, you experience stress, anxiety, or low mood, it is important to know that you are not alone— help and counselling support are available whenever you need them. Seeking support is an important part of taking care of yourself.
You can always contact your supervisor, Director of Third Cycle Education, Head of Subject, Head of School, or your school’s
HR department
regarding matters related to the work environment.
For more urgent situations, you can contact
1177 Healthcare Guide
or counselling support through THS.
In case of illness
If you become ill, it is useful to know what applies regarding medical certificates, sick pay, and reimbursement for hospital care and prescription medication.
