You can join a meeting where participants are using room systems from your computer by using software such as Zoom or Skype for Business.
Connect using a client to a video conferencing system
The advantage of using a client instead of web browsers is a more stable user experience and having access to all functionality such as sharing a screen.
When connecting to a video conferencing system, enter the system's SIP or IP address in the client's address bar.
Zoom
It’s possible to connect to a room system from the Zoom client and app.
- Download the Zoom client
- Open the client or app and select following options:
- “New Meeting”
- “Invite”
- “Invite a Room System”
- “Call Out”
- Type the room systems SIP address
- “Call”
