Working with generative AI (90 min)
Have you heard about generative AI but are not sure how to use it in your work? If so, you can participate in this workshop and get hands-on experience using a generative AI tool to streamline your work tasks. We focus on ChatGPT, but other generative AI tools also works.
A workshop can be ordered by everyone who is working at KTH.
Purpose
You, as a teacher or administrator, will learn to use generative AI and test how to streamline your work with a generative AI tool. We will also mention the possible legal issues and address some ethical considerations. The goal is that you leave the workshop with new ideas about when and how you can use generative AI in your own work.
Preparations
All participants must have access to a generativa AI tool. We recommend a free account at ChatGPT (chat.openai.com) .

Learning objectives
After completing the workshop, participants should be able to:
- use generative AI tools while respecting GDPR and copyright laws.
- ethically approach the use of generative AI tools. For example, regarding accuracy, bias and enviromental impact.
- identify the potential benefits of using a generative AI tool compared to a search engine.
- apply generative AI tools to effectively create and improve academic content.
- reflect on the possible use of generative AI to enhance the future practice in their own field.
