Have you heard about generative AI but are not sure how to use it in your work? If so, you can participate in this workshop and get hands-on experience using a generative AI tool to streamline your work tasks. We focus on ChatGPT, but other generative AI tools also works.

Mini-workshop: Get started with AI tools (20 min)
Get started using the AI tool Microsoft Copilot Chat! Copilot is the recommended AI tool at KTH and is available to both teachers and students. In the workshop we will go through how to access the chat bot, basic strategies for getting better answers, and guidelines for using AI.

AI and examination (120 min)
Increased access to powerful AI brings new opportunities and challenges for how we approach assessment and evaluation. In this workshop, we will review research on AI and assessment and highlight strategies to minimize the risk of AI‑related misconduct in examinations. You will also get the opportunity to discuss and reflect together with colleagues at KTH on generative AI and its impact on examination processes.

Each course at KTH must have course-specific information about generative AI, both in Canvas and in the course memo. To support this, ready-made templates are available. This workshop aims to help teachers and other teaching staff use the templates to develop relevant course information and communicate it clearly to students.

AI in education (60 min)
As a teacher, you can use AI i many ways to support your teaching, AI can for example be used to work more efficient and to save time when creating a course structure, a learning activity or producing course material. In this workshop, we go through different tasks in your teaching role where AI can be of support to you. We also explain how your students might use AI to facilitate their studies and how to use AI in accordance with KTH's guidelines on AI. You will also have the opportunity to discuss and reflect together with colleagues at KTH about AI in teaching.
