Decision on discontinuation of the Degree Progr. in Construction Management (TBYPH)

The President has decided to discontinue the Degree Progr. in Construction Management (TBYPH). The last admission round that is to be carried out is start of studies in autumn 2022.
Year 1 is given for the last time in the academic year 2022/2023 and year 2 is given for the last time in the academic year 2023/2024.

The School of Architecture and the Built Environment (ABE) is responsible for decisions on the discontinuationof courses, for transitional provisions to be drawn up and for students to be informed. When courses are discountinued, students who have been previously registered are allowed two years to complete the course.

Opportunity to study construction production at KTH remains within the Degree Programme in Constructional Engineering and Design (TIBYH). Some co-reading of courses is possible with the Degree Programme in Constructional Engineering and Design, which makes it easier for students to complete the Degree Progr. in Construction Management (TBYPH) after the decision of discontinuation.

Degree Progr. in Construction Management (TBYPH)

The Degree Progr. in Construction Management at KTH is a two-year vocational education.The programme comprises 120 higher education credits, which corresponds to 2 years of full-time studies. The language of education is Swedish. All courses are compulsory courses in theoretical and building engineering subjects. A number of courses in the programme contain practical and realistic elements such as exercises, seminars, laboratory work, field exercises, study visits and project assignments with a strong connection to vocational tasks.
