Extension of centre and steering group and change of chair, Center for Building Efficiency (CBE)

The Centre for Building Efficiency's (CBE) term of office is extended by six months until 2022-12-31. In connection with this decision, the steering group's term of office will also be extended during the same period and a new chair of the steering group, Johan Lins, Stockholms Byggmästareförening, will be appointed from 2022-06-01.

The Vice-President of Research has decided to:

  • extend the centre's term of office by six months to 2022-12-31;
  •  extend the steering group's term of office to 2022-12-31, with the adjustment that Johan Lins replaces Jan Kjellsson, both from Stockholms Byggmästareförening;
  • approve the new chair of the steering group, Johan Lins, Stockholms Byggmästareförening, with the term of office 2022-06-01 - 2022-12-31;
  • postpone the time for the centre to submit a self-assessment, prior to a possible further extension of the term of office, to 20 october.

The Centre for Building Efficiency (CBE)

The Centre for Building Efficiency was established in 2016 as a platform for collaboration between academia, industry and society in the area of the built environment, with the focus areas network building, research and development as well as knowledge dissemination and education. The Director is Johan Silfwerbrand, ABE School.
