Head of Department and Deputy Head of Department appointed for Civil and Architectural Engineering
Head of School, in consultation with KTH's President, has decided to appoint Professor Professor Magnus Wålinder as Head of Department for the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. Docent / Associate Professor Fredrik Johansson is appointed Deputy Head of Department.
The term of office applies from 2021-01-01 and until 2022-12-31.
Professor Johan Silfwerbrand was appointed Head of Department for Civil and Architectural Engineering during the period 2018-01-01 - 2020-06-30. Due to Covid-19, the term of office was extended to 2020-12-31. The Head of Department role will be handed over from the turn of the year 2020/2021 to the current Deputy Head of Department, Magnus Wålinder.
The Head of Department's decision-making rights are stated in the school's established Decision and Delegation scheme.
Consultations have taken place with THS student union and student representatives have had the opportunity to submit comments during the process. The school collaboration group has also be consulted.
