Search process

Well-designed job advertisements and well-considered search channels are essential if KTH is to achieve its goal of being an organisation characterised by equality and diversity

Advertising

Job advertisements are often our first contact with an applicant. Consequently, advertisement design is an important part of the work in recruitment. Requirements in the advertisement shall be based on the appointment profile/recruitment permission that has been drawn up.

Posts at KTH are to be advertised in accordance with KTH’s advertising guidelines . Advertisement publication is handled by Recruitment advertisements at Joint Operations Support’s HR department. Advice and tips on advertising and search channels are also available from the same place.

Further information on advertising can be found here .

Candidate selection questions

Candidate selection questions make selecting candidates for interview easier. When designing a job advertisement in the recruitment system, these questions can be written in an open or multiple choice format.

Example candidate selection questions:

  • How would you rate your command of spoken and written English/Swedish?
  • State names of relevant courses/programmes, higher education institutions and degree years.
  • Do you have experience of working at a higher education institution?
  • How many years of experience of working with _______ do you have?
