Collaboration partner or guest

To ensure that your collaboration partner or guest has the best possible stay, there are several details to consider. Here we have summarized the information that is useful to take in to consideration beforehand.

If needed, necessary accesses to collaboration partner or guests can be ordered through the school's administrative support before the visit. Examples of collaboration partners can be a scholarship holder with their own funds, an academic partner from another university, a company or a board member. A guest generally stays here for a shorter period of time and only need internet access and in some cases an access card during their stay.

Details to consider

Clear the visit with your department head or head of unit.
Keep in mind that some form of documentation showing that your requested access for your visitor has been approved by the head of department or head of unit is required to service@cbh.kth.se  before any access can be distributed.

Period of stay
Consider when in time you invite a person here, taking into account holidays and public holidays.

Vistor coming to Sweden

Depending on the length of stay, citizenship of the person arriving and purpose of the visit, the person may need to contact the Swedish Migration Board before travelling to Sweden.

Accommodation and travel

In some cases and depending on avaliability, KTH relocation can provide accommodation if the stay is longer than 2 months. Read more on the Relocation pages and register via their form on their page; KTH Relocation
For shorter visits and travel, our servicecenter can book both travel and accommodation. Read more on the page; Book travel and hotels for external participants

Ordering a KTH account, access card or WiFi access

Various permissions and accesses that may be needed or that need to be extended can be ordered via the school's form for partners or guests. Access to premises and ordering of KTH accounts require approval from the head of department or head of unit sent to CBH Service. The form responses are then sent to CBH Service, your local IT support and the Management Office for further processing. For help with ordering access, you can also contact the school's management office.
