Poster: The historical road to EECS
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is one of KTH’s eldest research areas, with roots dating back to 1827. As a gift to EECS employees, we have made a poster that visualises the school’s history, from 1827 until today.
The journey towards the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science began in 1827 in the area of physics. Electrical Engineering became its own research field in 1900, while Computer Science and Information Technology joined KTH in the mid 50’s. After almost 200 years later, EECS is created.
The poster ”Elektroteknikens och datavetenskapen historia vid KTH” tells the story of our research areas and their development as the world was electrified and digitalised.
As of today, 20 February, the poster will be available at our three service centres. Perfect artwork for your office!
