The review of the EECS organization, which began just over a year ago with the aim of creating a clearer line organization, strengthened academic leadership and financial transparency, is hereby essentially complete.
"The survey we have conducted regarding how the leadership assignment is viewed upon, the nominations received, and the interviews with candidates make us confident that we have found good leadership that can take the school forward. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who nominated candidates," says Head of School Ann Lantz.
The Head of Department is the manager and has the personnel responsibility for all staff within the department. The next step is for the Head of School and the appointed Head of Departments to have a dialogue about who they want to see as Deputy Head of Department.
