Renewed assignment for management of doctoral education at EECS
Starting on 1 July 2025, three EECS professors will get a new gig on the research education management team. They've been rotating yearly, and now Lars Jonsson is taking over as the research education manager (FA).
The Head of School has appointed Professor Lars Jonsson as Director of Third Cycle Education (FA) at 40%. Professor György Dán has been appointed First Deputy Director of Third Cycle Education at 30%, and Professor Sarunas Girdzijauskas as Second Deputy Director of Third Cycle Education, also at 30%.
The appointments are effective from 1 July 2025 through 30 June 2026.
Sarunas previously held the role of FA and now brings valuable insights and experience into this new position.
