Webinar to attract students to EECS

Prior to the Open House, the schools at KTH have held a webinar to present their first and second cycle education. The purpose is to reach the prospective students who are unable to visit KTH's Open House.

EECS broadcasted its webinar directly from Electrum on the Kista campus. Anders Sjögren, Programme Director for Computer Technology, Viktoria Fodor, Deputy Director of First and Second Cycle Education, and Nora Al-Naami, student at Information Technology, were in front of the camera. They spoke about the courses you can choose at EECS, what it is like to study at KTH, what differentiates a Master of Science in Engineering from a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and what possibilities you have after your education.

The viewers also had the opportunity to ask questions, and in the backroom study advisors Nilgün Aydin and Lena Smedenborn and answered questions and guided the prospective students to more information on kth.se or antagning.se.

Some questions that came up during the webinar were: "Which Master of Science in Engineering is most suitable for the future job market?", "What kind of computer should you have if you study Computer Technology?", "Which programming language is most commonly used during class?". Many questions were also raised about the new program Engineering Mathematics.
