Installation and login for KTH Slack

You can use Slack with a web browser or with the Slack application. Here you find installation instructions for the most common KTH platforms, as well as instructions on how to log in to Slack via the most common computer and mobile platforms.

Installation of Slack on the most common KTH platforms.

Installation of Slack on KTH Windows or standalone Windows computer

1. Click on the start menu.
2. Type in store, and choose Microsoft store.

3. Search for Slack, download the program, install it and start it.

4. Click on the profile ikon and choose add school/work acount
5. Login with your username@ug.kth.se and then approve the whole login procedure
6. Click on the briefcase icon and choose See all
7. Scroll down until you find slack, click on the Slack icon and choose install
8. Wait until the installation is completed and then click on Start icon to start slack

Installation of Slack on KTH Mac

1. Click on KTH Self Service.
2. Go to search.
3. Type in Slack.
4. Click on Install.
5. Click on open, to open Slack.

Sign in to KTH Slack

Sign in to Slack in Windows

1. Click on Sign in to Slack.
2. Click on Sign in manually instead.
3. Type in kth-se.
4. Click on Continue.
5. Click on Sign in with KTH.se account.
6. Type in username@ug.kth.se
7. Click on Next.
8. Type in your KTH password.
9. Click on Sign in.
10. Click in checkbox Always allow kth-se.slack.com to open links of this type in the associated app.
11. Click on Open.

Sign in to Slack on Android

1. Download the app and install it then
2. Click on Get started.
3. Click on Sign In with Workspace URL.
4. Type in kth-se and press enter.
5. Click on Sign in with Azure.
6. Type in username@ug.kth.se.
7. Click on Next.
8. Type in your KTH Password.
9. Click on Sign in.

Sign in to Slack on iOS

1. Download the app and install it then Click on Get started.
2. Click on Sign In with Workspace URL.
3. Type in kth-se.
4. Press enter.
5. Click on Sign in with Azure.
6. Click on Continue.
7. Type in username@ug.kth.se.
8. Click on Next.
9. Type in your KTH Password.
10. Click on Sign in.

Sign in to slack through web browser

1. You can either open Slack through the Personal menu and services, or you can follow the steps below.
2. Open your preferred web browser.
3. Go to kth-se.slack.com  .
4. Click on Sign in with Azure.
5. Type in username@ug.kth.se.
6. Click on Next.
7. Type in your KTH password.
8. Click on keep me signed in.
9. Click on Sign in.
