Apps in KTH Slack
As a state authority, we have legal requirements that mean that we have restrictions on how slack may be used. Read more about why we do not automatically integrate apps in slack or other services and programs we use at KTH.
Limited possibility to use apps in KTH Slack
As an authority, we have legal requirements that mean that we have restrictions on how slack may be used. To secure data in slack due to the data integration that can take place between slack and other apps, we have chosen not to connect slack with other apps in this, where Zoom integration is currently an exception.
KTH Slack is first and foremost a service for sending instant messages between colleagues and in projects, but we also understand that certain integrations / apps may be useful.
If there will be a lot of demand for a certain integration / app In the future, where we see that it will benefit employees and that the authority's responsibility can be complied with, we will if time allows test the need internally and then afterwards possibly start an integration process.
Please read more about Regulations in KTH Slack to create a better picture of our government responsibility and what you can and may not do in the use of slack.
