KTH changes telephone switchboard

On February 25 at 7:00 PM, KTH will switch to a new telephone switchboard, which will be fully operational by February 26 at 7:00 AM.

The new telephone switchboard is cloud-based and is operated by the provider Tele2.

KTH has stopped using fixed telephone subscriptions in favor of mobile connections in recent years, which has made us more flexible and mobile and which has enabled the introduction of new working methods such as flexi-workplaces and remote working.

Information on how to use the new app "Tele2 switchboard" (which can be used on Android and iPhone) to easily redirect your phone in case of illness, meeting, vacation et cetera, as well as other instructions, can be found on the Telephony  page under the heading "Instructions for Tele2 switchboard".

For those of you who have a mobile connection and have shown your mobile number when making outgoing calls, the number shown when switching to 08790 is the number, but this can be changed in the Tele2 app.

Please note that previous referrals including internal and external redirects will not be carried over during the transition to the new system and must be re-done.
