Warning for virus e-mail

Published Aug 10, 2020

There are a lot of virus e-mails arriving at KTH at the moment

A lot of e-mails with subject and body that looks as it is coming from KTH are currently being sent to employees. They come with a Word or Powerpoint file (.doc or .ppt) as attachement.

These e-mails are from malicious senders.

Please be careful and check the senders e-mailaddress, not just the name of the sender.

Do not open attachements or links in e-mails coming from a familiar name but the mailaddress is something else from what you expect. For example if the name is a collegue but the sender e-mail is not from KTH.
