Using Endnote 20 on M1 Macs
Endnote is one of the most widely used reference managers.
It is now available in version 20, but is not adapted yet for M1-macar.
Adaptations are needed to use it in Microsoft Word.
Endnote 20 is as of spring 2021 not yet adapted for Macs with Apple processors, so-called M1-Macs.
The application runs in Rosetta mode, a compatibility mode where the Intel-adapted program runs in an emulator. This is completely invisible to the user.
Since Endnote has a plugin for Microsoft Word, Word must also be put in Rosetta mode for the Endnote plugin to work in Word.
Follow the instructions on Clarivate's website to make Endnote work with Word:
