KTH Windows

There are some differences in how you open KTH Templates in the KTH Windows environment with Office 2016 compared to Office 365 desktop app.

Office 2016 app

To open KTH Templates in PowerPoint (PPT) or Word:

1. Start PowerPoint or Word.
2. Click Shared to access the templates in PPT.

If you have already clicked Open a New PPT or New Word document, in other words created an empty presentation blank document, click File, and then click New and continue as states in point 2.

Office 365 app

1. Start PowerPoint or Word.
2. Click on More templates (in Word) oron More Themes (in PowerPoint).
3. Click on KTH to access the templates.

KTH Mac

In order to get the templates to your Mac, you have to connect to the following server:

smb://files.ug.kth.se/root/distribution/kthwin/office/templates

If you are outside KTH, you need to be connected via VPN in order to access the KTH network and resources.

KTH Templates in Office 365 online

In Office online, you can open the KTH template only in PowerPoint. The Word templates cannot be opened via Office 365 online at the moment. Read above about how to open them in the Word app installed on your computer.

1. Start by logging in to www.office.com/  with your KTH account
2. Click on "Create"

   

3. Choose "KTH" folder

   

4. Open KTH template for PowerPoint
