KTH’s mobile studios
KTH offers three different mobile studio units. The studio units are used for different recording and broadcasting needs at KTH. The MINI unit is used for reportage recording, the MIDI unit is used for room recording, and the MAXI unit is for Webinars and panel debates. KTH's mobile studios can be booked by contacting e-learning.
MINI-unit
The mobile MINI unit is mainly used for reportage recording. It is best suited for recording a maximum of two people, where the eyes are directed straight into the camera. The mini unit also works well for interviewing one or two people. If necessary, there is a possibility to use PowerPoint presentations, which are mounted on-site at the recording.
The video material can be edited afterwards or live-streamed. An extra image mixer and computer are needed for live streaming or PowerPoint presentation. The MINI unit is not used for room recording, as there is no PA system (sound system) for the audience.

Staff requirements at the time of recording: 1 person.
MIDI-unit
The mobile MIDI unit is mainly used for room recording.
Ordering customer staff is responsible for questions received via Zoom. The customer provides a computer for PowerPoint presentations. If the room has a PA system for the audience, there is an opportunity for a larger audience.

- Light kit and microphones (depending on the equipment in the room)
- A recording and transmission computer
- Possibility of hybrid recording through Zoom and YouTube stream.
Staff requirements at the time of recording: 1 person.
MAXI-unit
The MAXI mobile unit is used for recording webinars and panel debates.
Ordering customer staff is responsible for questions received via Zoom. The customer is also responsible for screens/canvases, furniture, etc., in the recording room. The customer provides a computer for PowerPoint presentations. PA systems for the audience are not possible when recording with the MAXI unit.

- Editor's speaker or earpiece for presenters
- Possibility of PowerPoint presentation with PowerPoint monitor
- Possibility of hybrid recording through Zoom and YouTube stream.
Staff requirements at the time of recording: 1-3 persons, depending on the customer’s needs.
