KTH's Management Group

KTH's management group handles issues relating to strategic management and governance of the university and is led by the President.

Responsibilities and tasks

KTH's management group deals with matters relating to the strategic management and governance of the University. The Management Group also advises the President on matters relating to the planning, monitoring and development of the University's activities.

Meetings and contact info

KTH's management group meets every Tuesday morning. The Vice Presidents, the Dean and the Vice Dean of Faculty participate when there is a need or certain interest in a matter. The President decides which other persons shall have the right to attend and speak at the meetings of the management group. Secretary for the management group is Marcus Ivan Stjernström, marcuis@kth.se , at the Management Office.

Composition of the group

The Management Group consists of the President as chair, the Deputy President, the Heads of School, the University Director and the Deputy University Director.

The students are represented by the President of Tekniska högskolans studentkår.

Permanently co-opted to the Management Group meetings

The Vice President for Research, the Vice President for International Relations, the Dean of Faculty and the Vice Dean of Faculty are permanently co-opted, with the possibility to participate in the meetings of the Management Group.
