The presentation uses different ways to activate students, both in Zoom and Canvas. For example, the presentation begins with a simple question, an "icebreaker", which is used to lay the foundation for participation during the meeting. Similar arrangements also work to determine the discussion climate early in the course.
The webinar also addresses that small talk is essential online and suggests how to promote it. It also discusses how you as a teacher could reduce effort by collaborating and planning with others. To get an overview of tasks and a time estimate, you can use a "Web Meeting Plan", a supporting document for planning. The plan also makes it easier to distribute work and collaborate with colleagues.
