How to Successfully Manage Your Horizon Europe Proposal
Come and learn how to coordinate and design a manageable EU Horizon Europe proposal from day one
Would you like to apply for funding from EU Horizon Europe program as a coordinator to a consortium, but you’re not sure how to tackle the proposal process? In this information session, you’ll receive concrete, hands-on guidance on how you can smoothly put together a proposal, keep control of your consortium, and design an efficient project work plan, so you can hit that “submit” button with confidence.

The session will include:
• “From call text to submission: The proposal process made clear”: Learn everything you need to know to build a Horizon Europe proposal, including what to look out in the call text, using the submission portal, and understanding the parts of the proposal. This session will also provide tips on how to collect information from your consortium, how to handle the project budget, and how to work together to write the proposal.
• “Designing a project that is actually implementable”: Learn how to structure work packages, plan resources and staffing, think through risks and timelines, and shape your proposal so that, once funded, the project is realistic to run and won’t collapse under its own weight.
• “You are not alone!”: Learn about how KTH’s Research Support Office can support your next coordinated Horizon Europe proposal.
You will also hear from a PI who received project management support from RSO for their first proposal. They will share their experience of working with a project manager, what made the biggest difference for their application, and how the support helped them transform their idea into a well-designed and polished proposal.
