Leave, absence and time (KTH-HR)

In KTH-HR employees can apply for time off, report absences and time and mark as done (klarmarkera). Managers approve and certify.

New payroll and time reporting system

In the autumn of 2024, KTH will implement a new payroll and time reporting system, KTH-HR. HR, managers, and employees will transition to the new system. The new system and procedures will be launched and implemented during a transition period starting October 21, 2024.

Important to know about KTH-HR

In KTH-HR, you report leaves, absences, and time. After review, confirmation, and approval, the cases are transferred to KTH's payroll system. Note that you need to register expenses in KTH-RES

To ensure correct salary payments to employees, the main rule is that everything concerning the current month must be approved by the manager in KTH-HR and KTH-RES.

See important dates for each month under salary deadlines

It is particularly important that all absences affecting salary, such as leaves of absence, are registered and approved well in advance before the leave begins to avoid accruing a salary debt.
