I can’t log in to the system
Make sure you are connected to VPN. If you are a new employee, activate your KTH account to log in.
I don’t see anything when I open the Medvind module
This may be because the Medvind module currently cannot be opened in Firefox or Safari on Mac. Troubleshooting is underway, with no estimated resolution time yet.
Tip: Try using Edge or Chrome as your browser, or open the module directly via
kth.medvind.visma.com
I don’t see the same tabs as shown in the guides
Some tabs are preset as hidden. For example, if you cannot see the "Attest/approval" tab, you can change this in the settings. You can easily customise the tabs you see by changing your personal settings .
I see incorrect staff in my group
Some issues, such as managers seeing the wrong staff in their group, are related to setups in the new organisational structure. The structure was set up according to the old Self-Reporting system, and updates have been continuously made in KTH-HR. HR is working to ensure you can see the correct staff.
How can I view my previous payslips?
Payslips from October 2024 and earlier are in the old self-reporting/payroll system (HR+). The system is still accessible, but only for viewing historical data.
How do I see my vacation balance?
Currently, you can view your vacation balance in the old payroll system (HR+) and manually calculate any vacation you’ve requested from October 2024 onward to get the correct balance. From 26 November, you can view your vacation balance in KTH-HR in the Medvind module.
Note that your vacation balance will display as "0" on your November payslip. It will be updated correctly on the December payslip.

Do I need to confirm my month?
Confirmation is a feature where employees indicate that they have completed their reporting for the current month.
- If you are an employee with a flexitime agreement, you should confirm at the end of the month.
- If you are an employee with annual working hours/non-regulated working hours, you should confirm at the end of the month if you have taken any absences or leave.
What if I’m unable to confirm?
If you’re unable to confirm for a month, your manager can still approve the month on your behalf. The confirmation serves as a tool to show your manager that you have completed your reporting.
What does it mean to approve at the end of the month?
Managers approve absences and leave on an ongoing basis and then approve the entire group at the end of each month. In KTH-HR, managers get an overview of employees' reporting, including time reports for hourly workers. Contact HR at your school if you need support with approval as a manager.
What if I, as a manager, can’t approve?
If you are a manager and you are on leave for example, you can delegate approval for that period. HR always ensures that monthly approval is completed.
