Dean of faculty ends his assignment
Anders Forsgren requested on 17 May to terminate his assignment as Dean of Faculty with immediate effect, which the President accepted. The assignment includes chairing various committees and councils, such as the faculty council, the employment board and the promotion committee.
The President has subsequently asked the Nomination Committee for the Faculty Council to initiate a process to appoint a new dean. Following a proposal from the Nomination Committee, the President decides on a new dean.
The Faculty Council has in turn been commissioned by the President to propose a new chairman of the employment committee. The President appoints the chairman after joint preparation by the Faculty Council and the Vice President with responsibility for gender equality and values.
For the time being, the Faculty Council is chaired by Vice Dean Sofia Ritzén and the Employment Committee by its Vice Chairman Anna Wistrand.
