Summary of the All employee meeting (AEM)
Did you miss AEM on 19 May? No problems, here comes the summary and presentation. Among other things, Head of School Sonja Berlijn, gave us news from the departments and information on the RAE quality processes.
The penultimate All employee meeting of the spring term was broadcast from the new hybrid meeting room Henrik Eriksson at Borggården, with colleagues on-site and via Zoom. From 8:00, those who felt like it could have coffee with cinnamon buns.

Sonja began with asking us that we register for the next fire training on 29 September, 9:00–12:00, which includes both theory and practice.
Department support teams
The presentation continued with an update on the department teams in operation. The next step is for the teams to meet with the heads of departments to work together to develop the best possible way of working.
Sonja reviewed the report for the first quarter together with a forecast for the rest of the year, variations in income and expenses, government capital and a list of our most prominent external financiers. We must also draw up a joint plan to reduce our government capital.

Research Assessment Exercise (RAE)
Sonja went through the next step regarding RAE. In dialogue with the heads of departments, they will analyse the RAE reports, identify possible areas for development and develop an action plan for how to handle the recommendations.

We received a status update regarding the work of clearing the school's e-mail domains. The next step is to reduce the number of unattended group addresses (funktionsadresser) to ensure correct handling of incoming e-mails, prevent forgery of identity for spam mailings and achieve the authority's service obligation.
Self-service portal for ordering IT products
Soon we will have a web-based portal for ordering IT products that provide significantly more automation and a smoother flow in the ordering process.

EECS Summer event 8 June
Sonja reminded us to sign up for the EECS Summer event, the registration closes on 25 May. At the event, you will get a unique opportunity to learn more about the latest research and education at our school, visit our labs, and see the doctoral students' poster exhibition. You can also enjoy good food, drink and company.
Next AEM 16 June
The next staff meeting is on 16 June . After a Zoom poll, the participants chose the meeting room Amiga in Electrum for the next hybrid AEM. As usual, you are welcome to come to have coffee from 8:00. You can choose between participating on-site or digitally.
