The professional support during Christmas

The university administration remains open during the holiday's but with longer response times and limited support.

During the Christmas holidays, the professional support has limited service. Here you will find Service Center's opening hours and information on reaching other units; finance, HR, communication and student affairs.

Service center/Infrastructure and service

Service center's opening hours week 51 ( 19–23 December)

Borggården, Q and Electrum: 19–22 December, 09:00–15:00.

23 December: all Service centers are closed.

Borggården, Q and Electrum: 28 December, 10.00-12.00

Staff are on site at the main campus and in Electrum with limited service and slightly longer processing times. Fruit and milk deliveries are paused until 9 January.

Locked front doors

To increase security and reduce the risk of unauthorised persons in KTH's premises during the Christmas and New Year's weeks, KTH will lock all front doors on campus between 24 December and 8 January (v. 51–52). Anyone who has an access card with valid authorisation will be able to enter as usual.

Purchases

Purchase matters are not handled during the period 22 December to 9 January, with the exception of Wisum and card payments, which are handled between 22 and 23 December and 2-5 January. The handling time may be longer than normal.

Contracts and agreements

Manage your agreements well in advance of the Christmas holidays as the handling time may be longer during Christmas.

The other units

You can reach the other units via its e-mail address ( funktionsadress ), but with longer response times than usual. 

Finance

The accounts ledger (invoices) is open 19-22 December 09.00-15.00, and 27-30 December 09.00-15.00. You can reach them via invoice@eecs.kth.se

Remember to add a replacement if you can't handle your invoices yourself over the holiday's. Contact invoice@eecs.kth.se  if you do not have a replacement. The last day for approval (ekonomisk attest) for the financial statements is 5 January 2022 at 12.00.

HR

HR is staffed during Christmas, but with longer response times: hr-support@eecs.kth.se

Recruitment ads are closed from 23 December until 1 January and 5–6 January (open 2–4 January). Open as usual from 9 January 2023.

No ads will be able to be published or extended on these dates. If you have advertisements that expire during the period, you must request an extension before 20 December. The same applies if you want to publish new ads before the weekends.

Communication

The newsletter pEECS takes a break between 15 December and 12 January.
