KTH's university-wide sustainability objectives 2026-2030/2045
KTH’s sustainability goals show how the university translates its vision and university-wide objectives (HS-2025-2971), as well as its policy for sustainable development (V-2019-0451), into practice. The goals concern KTH’s core mission – education, research, and how operations are organized and carried out. They also describe how the university works to use resources in an efficient and sustainable way.
The sustainability goals encompass the three dimensions of sustainable development: environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Furthermore, they align with the UN’s Agenda 2030 and the 17 global goals aimed at eradicating poverty, stopping climate change, and creating peaceful and secure societies.
