Program Directors' (PA) Network

The Program Directors for education programs on 1st and 2nd cycle at KTH meet once per month, with the aim to stimulate innovation in education and strengthen the PA role. The network was initiated in 2012 and has been continuously developed to be an efficient and relevant arena for the program directors.

Strengthening the PA (Program Directors) role and contribute to educational innovation and development

The purpose with an overall network on 1st and 2nd cycle is to provide with an efficient and relevant arena to share information and experiences across schools and programs. This can contribute to educational development and innovation and also strengthen the role of the PA.

The PA network meets physically or online for two hours each month during term time and shares information and material on a group website.

CDIO as a starting point

Normally, the meetings begin with a short presentation followed by a discussion with CDIO  (Conceiving - Designing - Implementing - Operating) as the central framework. Examples of discussion topics are:

  • throughput
  • gender mainstreaming
  • progression
  • program cohesion
  • leadership
