Parking for KTH employees

Parking on KTH Campus, KTH Flemingsberg, AlbaNova and SciLifeLab is permitted in marked spaces. As a KTH employee, you can park at a reduced price if you have a digital parking permit.

The parking spaces on KTH Campus, KTH Flemingsberg, AlbaNova och SciLifeLab are managed by Akademiska hus and their contracted parking provider, Smart Parkering AB. Parking is only permitted in marked spaces. Visitors are required to pay an hourly rate, but as an employee, you have the opportunity to park at a reduced rate if you hold a digital parking permit.

Smart Parkering has a digital parking system. To park with a staff rate, you need to:

The reduced parking rates for KTH employees are:

  • 70 SEK per day for street parking
  • 110 SEK per day for garage parking

The prices apply to parking spaces owned and managed by Akademiska Hus in Stockholm. Find current pricing information via Smart Parkering AB's app.

How to download your digital parking permit

There are other apps named "Smart Parking" or similar. You will find links to the correct SmartPark app further up on this page.

  1. Download the SmartPark app. You will find links to the app further up on this webpage.
  2. Start the SmartPark app. Fill in your phone number and personal information.
  3. Select Parkeringstillstånd (parking permit) and AkademiskaHus Stockholm in the list that appears.
  4. You will see the option Digital dekal AVSLUTA EJ!. Press Fortsätt/Continue.
  5. Enter your registration number, as well as the desired start date.
  6. Now you must also fill in the Bekräftelsekod (confirmation code) - it is a code for KTH staff. You will see the code below on this page if you are logged in to your KTH account. Fill in the confirmation code in the app and then click Continue. Now you are done.

Select parking zone

Once you have entered the confirmation code and received your digital sticker, select the correct zone to park in. You will then see a list of the zones closest to you.

  1. Click on "starta parkering" (start parking).
  2. Select the correct zone when option "Välj rätt zon" is prompted.
  3. Select the parking zone for staff (personal in Swedish). Learn more from the instructions below.

Staff parking zone numbers

  • KTH Campus: 124001 (1240011 for charging point).
  • AlbaNova: 124011 (1240111 for charging point).

  • KTH Flemingsberg and SciLifeLab have different zones depending on which parking space you choose. Find the nearest zone in the app. Select the zone marked with ”personal” (staff in Swedish) to park at a reduced rate.

It is essential to select the staff zone to receive a reduced rate. If you are unsure of what the zone looks like, you can click on the small information symbol, and the zone will be displayed on a map. There is also signage with zone numbers at each parking lot.

Please note that the zone numbers shown are for visitors (i.e., not reduced rates). However, if you enter the same number and add a '1' at the end, it will be the staff rate. If you add ”11” at the end of the zone number, it will be the staff rate for parking with a charging point.
