Parking for KTH employees

Parking on KTH Campus and KTH Flemingsberg is permitted in marked spaces. As a KTH employee, you can park at a reduced price if you have a parking permit.

Parking on KTH Campus

The parking spaces on KTH Campus are managed by Akademiska hus and their contracted parking provider. Parking is only permitted in marked spaces. Visitors are required to pay an hourly rate, but as an employee, you have the opportunity to park at a reduced rate if you hold a parking permit.

Park via Smart Parkering AB's app

From 1 January 2026, Smart Parkering AB will take over the operation of KTH's parking spaces. You can pay for parking via the SmartPark app or by text message.

In connection with the change, a new digital parking system is being introduced, which means that the previous physical stickers are being replaced with digital parking permits for employees. The digital parking permits are available in the SmartPark app and will be valid from 1 January 2026.

The new rate for day parking (7:00 –18:00) will be SEK 70, compared to the previous SEK 55. Find all current parking rates in the SmartPark app.

How to download your digital parking permit

  1. Download the SmartPark app.
  2. Start the SmartPark app. Fill in your phone number and personal information.
  3. Select Parkeringstillstånd (parking permit) and AkademiskaHus Stockholm in the list that appears.
  4. You will see the option Digital dekal AVSLUTA EJ!. Press Fortsätt/Continue.
  5. Enter your registration number, as well as the desired start date.
  6. Now you must also fill in the Bekräftelsekod (confirmation code) - it is a code for KTH staff. You will see the code below on this page if you are logged in to your KTH account. Fill in the confirmation code in the app and then click Continue. Now you are done.

Aimo Park ceases to be a parking provider at the end of the year

Aimo Park ceases to be a parking provider at KTH Campus, 31 December 2025. As of 1 January 2026, Smart Parkering AB will be the provider of parking services at KTH Campus.

Ticket purchase via KTH Entré

  • Aimo Park's parking tickets sold at KTH Entré are valid until 31 December, 2025.
  • Repurchase of unused parking tickets is possible at KTH Entré during December 2025. To be approved, the tickets must be completely free of markings.
  • As of 5 December, you can no longer buy parking tickets at KTH Entré.

Parking on KTH Flemingsberg

Staff at KTH Flemingsberg can park at Alfred Nobels allé, between street numbers 23 and 35. You can collect parking stickers for staff from the janitorial services on floor 5 (entrance level), KTH Flemingsberg. Aimo Park is the responsible parking provider for the parking spaces in Flemingsberg.
