Security Protection Agreement or Agreement on Security Protection

KTH is at all times responsible for security sensitive activities conducted within the framework of its activities. This responsibility cannot be transferred to any other party by agreement. Even if another actor carries out certain elements or parts of an activity, it is still considered under the Security Protection Act to be carried out by KTH.

In some cases, KTH may be required to enter into a Security Protection Agreement with, for example, a supplier or an external collaboration or cooperation partner. This applies in cases where the external actor will gain insight or access to KTH's security-sensitive activities.

It is KTH's Security Protection Manager that decides on security protection agreements. The Security Protection organization at the Security and Safety Department (SSD) assists affected activities that need to enter into a Security Protection Agreement or an agreement on Security Protection.
